Why the reduced fat versions of certain foods taste crap compared to the normal versions. Like Special K – it’s cardboard, not corn flakes. And skimmed milk, that stuff might as well be water. It’s like they’re punishing you for going on a diet, or in my case, daring to try a diet version of a food I like. (I am not a dieter).
Tell me about it. The reduced fat White Cheddar Cheez-its don’t taste as nearly as great as the normal one. But come on. That’s the point …. reduced fat. Different taste

It is because they are using wood pulp and animal hooves to make it fat free. 🙂
